News & Events February 6, 2002 CHESTER COUNTY COUNCIL APPROVES S.C. 99 INDUSTRIAL PARK SITE Chester County Council approved placing a new county industrial park on S.C. 99 at its meeting Monday night. Council approved the new park after discussion and a presentation comparing the proposed S.C. 9 and S.C. 99 sites from B.P. Barber and Associates, engineers hired by the county. "It is our opinion that Highway 99 is a better suitable site," Deepal Eliatamby of B.P. Barber and Associates told council. The park is tied to the $2 million grant awarded to the town of Great Falls to extend sewer lines down S.C. 99.
