Construction Board of Appeals

Length of Terms: 4 years

Purpose: Hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or determinations made by the Building official relative to the application and interpretation of the adopted building codes. Council appointees are in bold print.

Members

This board will be appointed second quarter of 2009.

Membership Criteria: One member shall be appointed from, and be a resident of, each of the 6 council districts, and the seventh member shall be appointed at large by majority vote of Council. Members must be qualified by experience and training to pass on matters pertaining to building construction, and must not be employees of the jurisdiction. (IBC-112.1-112.3). Members serve at the will and pleasure of Council and terms shall run concurrent with that of the appointer.
