Responsibilities and Services

• Reports to the Chester County Board of Voter Registration and Election Commission.
• Supervises, plans and directs the activities of the department of Voter Registration in order to ensure the proper administration and provision of efficient Voter and Election services. Plans and directs all Voter Registration functions, coordinates Election procedures in Chester County to ensure secure, fair and impartial election of public officials. Supervises clerical staff and volunteers, reviews work of subordinates for completeness and accuracy.
• Read maps for all redistricting, County Council, Senator, School Board, House of Representative and Congressional seats and checks for accuracy within the computer system.
• Register voters, making sure they are in correct districts and precincts and entering information in computer system.
• Continually stays updated on changes with Voting and Election laws by attending conferences, seminars and continuing education classes.
• Make Absentee Voting available for those who are unable to vote on election day.
• Process Voter Registration Cards.
